Markdown is an easy-to-read, easy-to-write language for formatting plain text. You can use Markdown syntax, along with some additional HTML tags, to format your writing on GitHub, in places like repository READMEs and comments on pull requests and issues.
This tutorial has been prepared for the beginners to help them understand the basic to advanced formatting features through creating and editing various templates.
Before you start practicing various types of examples given in this reference, we assume that you are already aware about Github and the Git Version Control System.
