Do you (or someone you know) want to be listed here? Here's how to apply:
- β Star this repo (this helps more people find this list)
- πββοΈ Raise an issue here with the relevant details
We review the details of each applicant to ensure this list remains a high-quality collection of creators. We can't guarantee that every suggestion will be included, but we'll do our best to include as many qualified candidates as we can, based on the guidelines above above.
You are a "Dev Influencer" in our eyes if you check the following boxes:
- β You are currently and consistently creating quality content for developers (you need to be able to show off your work to other people)
- β You have specific technical areas of expertise that you focus on with your content
- β You publish your content on mainstream platforms under your personal name/brand (and not as a ghostwriter)
- β You are interested in working with brands/companies to create content related to their dev-focused products
- π‘ Note that we didn't say anything about audience size. We don't care about how many followers you have. As long as you can demonstrate that you are publishing quality, technical content for a technical audience under your own name, you're eligible to be included in the list.
Simply put - dev-focued content creators are important because developers appreciate authenticity.
This list is a collection of humans who have built an audience (big or small) and earned a reputation for their expertise in a specific area. Their ability to speak with clarity, authority, and consistency about a particular topic makes them trusted advisors to the people who consume their content.
Connecting with the right influencer can help brands/companies in several ways:
- Get pro-grade product feedback
- Introduce products to a niche target audience in a trusted, non-'salesy' way
- Generate authentic testimonials and product reviews
- And more...
Lots of technical folks have built niche audiences around their content (making them "dev influencers"). Many of these influencers are also open to collaborations (paid or unpaid).
At the same time, lots of brands are looking for the right influencers and content creators to review and promote their dev-focused products.
But it's hard for these two groups to find each other.
That's the problem we're solving with influencer.dev - an open-source marketplace for dev influencer collaboration. It allows technical content creators to promote themselves to relevant brands and it enables brands to easily connect with the most relevant creators for their target audience.
This project is early-stage and that means there's a ton of value available to early adopters:
