MCL version 3.01 requires that you upgrade your Machinedrum OS to version X.03

The Changelog above documents all functionality changes from version 2.70 to 3.01. The user manual will be updated at a later time.

Upload instructions:

Binary (.hex) file containing the firmware has been provided below.

Windows

Windows users can use the included Xloader_MegaCommand.zip program to upload the correct binary.

Mac

Mac users can use the Paul Kaplan's hex uploader tool HexUploader.zip downloadable below.
(The arduino IDE must be installed first: https://www.arduino.cc/en/main/software)

HexUploader Settings:

  • Arduino Type: ATmega 2560
  • SerialPort: The MegaCommand will usually show up as usbmodemXXX when connected.
  • Baud: 115200
