Welcome to the Oppia contributors' wiki -- and thanks for your interest in contributing to the Oppia project!

There are many ways to help out, from creating a new exploration on Oppia.org to fixing a bug in the codebase. Don't be discouraged if you're new to "open source", or if you're still a student -- many of our contributors are, too. The main thing is that you care about helping more people around the world to learn things better. We'd also be happy to provide mentorship and support if this is your first time contributing to an open source project. You might also be interested in checking out our user documentation.

To make it easier to get started, we've catalogued some of the different ways to help out. Please feel free to take a look through them, and see if any interest you!

If you run into any problems, please log an issue on our issue tracker, or post to our developer mailing list.

Finally, if you'd like to help, but aren't sure how -- please let us know. The Oppia project is very multi-faceted, and we'll almost certainly be able to find something matching your interests and skills. If you'd like to help, you can contact us at oppia-dev@, or at [email protected].
